/etc/modules.conf /etc/modprobe.conf Are these files related/the same/different versions for different kernels?? A lot of "fixes" (e.g. turning off ipv6, correcting sound card problems) require making changes to one of these.. and now I have a mess of similarities and differences between the two files. Can someone clarify please, thanks. Ben
