 Hi Mathew, if by updating the video card driver you mean you installed
the closed-source nvidia driver, make sure you update /etc/X11/xorg.conf
file as per the nvidia readme. Xorg replaces XFree86 in FC2.  If that's
not what you mean or if you already did this please post *detailed*
information as to what you have already done and we will do our best to
help you.
