There have been some interesting posts regarding this
topic.

But, as most can see, there are some good and helpful
people on the list.

Bottom line:
Just have a reasonable go at the problem yourself.
If people can see that, then you will receive help
every time.

Everyone is a newbie at sometime in their life!
Nobody automatically knows everything! There is always
a START, MIDDLE and END.
NEVER call yourself "stupid". 
Knowledge is relative to your TIME and EFFORT.
Guru: Means that these people have put the TIME and
EFFORT in to something.
