OT - But can't find an answer: DOM/XML

I know this is somewhat off the beaten path, but I can't get an answer for
this on the php newsgroups, so I hope someone here has seen this.

 

When starting a web app, I get the message
"DOM XML functions are not available."

rpm-qa libxml reveals:
libxml-1.8.17-10.1.1

phpinfo reveals:
...--with-dom=shared,/usr --with-dom-xslt=/usr --with-dom-xslt=/usr
--with-xmlrpc=shared...

Any feedback is appreciated.
