Well, I'm mystified by this. It can't be the case that something you
installed broke Red Carpet, as it's built in such a way that it has no
dependencies on anything else (which is a good thing -- you don't want
installing or uninstalling a program to break your program installation
and uninstallation tool). I'm assuming all other aspects of your network
are working fine. I doubt this could be caused by a firewall problem,
but out of interest did you change anything to do with your firewall
recently? I'll forward the details of the problem you are having to the
rc-devel list.
