Only needed and useful if you do not want to enforce authentification
but bypass it.

If changes are only made within the access map file then rebuilding of
the sendmail.cf is pointless. It even won't rebuild as there are no
changes in the sendmail.mc.
> then /etc/init.d/sendmail restart
Editing map files does not require a restart of the Sendmail daemon!
Therefor they are hashed. On Fedora a Sendmail service restart too makes
a manual call of m4 unnecessary.
