xfig and Helvetica Narrow

Running xfig on FC2, any size text in Helvetical Narrow is displayed
as the same fixed font (6x13, I think).  I get the feeling there's
something simple that can be done to get correct display, but it
eludes me.  Does this problem a bell for anyone?
