Something I forgot to mention is that I was able to install the Oracle 9i
without any X problems, the problems started trying to install the
patch...

I can now run nedit with the "davila" user, however when I do "su -
oracle" , the "oracle" user cannot run "nedit"... also, when I try to log
as the "oracle" user in the machine, I get an error showing me the
".xsession-error" file, then abort, in other words I cannot log in the
machine as the "oracle" user, but I was doing that before the problems
appeared.

Any further help would be most welcomed.

Thanks, Alberto
