Wouldn't it be better to 'touch /forcefsck' ? He was asking for a way to
automatically check the filesys. If the system sees a /.autofsck file,
it will prompt the user before actually doing the fsck, and if the user
does not respond within the timeout period (10 seconds), it will skip
the fsck. If it finds a /forcefsck file, it will do the fsck without prompt.
