fc2 dies on me when I install

Hello, everybody,
	I hope that you can help me. Each time I try to install fc2 on my
computer I get the following messages : 

trying to remount root filesystem read/write ....done
mountibng   /tmp as ramfs.............done
running install
running /sbin/loader


And that is where it goes dead. It justs stops and waits. I wait quite a
while too but up to now and a good ten minutes period nothing has
advanced. Is there a problem here and what should I do? 
do I have to wait a whole deal longer?
