How to look for : where is the ldapd exec in fedora?

[Marnix Petrarca (DL-MLM)]

type:

1) "updatedb" (to make sure)
 
type:

2) "whereis slapd"

should give:

slapd: /usr/sbin/slapd   /usr/share/man/man8/slapd.8.gz
