Try dnsmasq available at
http://dag.wieers.com/packages/dnsmasq/

It's a really small (the rpm is 86 kb) caching dns on top of the
/etc/hosts file, so you only need to setup a single file. Also supports
DHCP and MX (Mail eXchange) Records. For a home network this is all you
need.
