Linux sees hard drives as hda for the first hdb for the second and so
on. The partitions are the first on (hda - BIOS primary master) hda --
hda1 (the second hda2 - etc) on the second hard drive (hdb - in BIOS
primary slave) first partition hdb1 and so on.

In the KDE menu under System tools there is a program TERMINAL (looks
like a monitor) which is like the DOS prompt use mount and fdisk in this
program.
