Kernel 2.6.3.XXX and NVIDIA Drivers

Hello all.

Can someone tell me why my X hangs when i install the latest drivers 
from NVIDIA ??

When i install those drivers, i cant start X. i've tried everything, but 
keeps hanging.

Ive make a search on internet and installed patched drivers, but still 
everything the same
