Does error msg indicate impeding disk crash?

This really looks like a filesystem error. If it appeared out of the 
blue , then get another disk ASAP.... When the discs failed on some of 
my machines , I got some errors more related to HD (like "drive not 
ready" , for example). If you're willing to risk , just do a reboot and 
fsck the partition. It'll probably fix the filesystem and , if the disk 
is OK , it will keep working for some time (maybe even years..)

The only machine were I saw something like this was under heavy stress 
and was overheating..  If we added a external fan to help airflow , it 
would work for weeks withouth problem... So , check this machine and see 
if it is overheating...
