Upgrade or downgrade rpm packages : error from glibc version ...

Hi ,

i've got some pbs with original package in the fedora core 1 dist ...

error from the gcc compiler : "undifined symbol" .

On some forums , i saw that it's a bug of the glibc package ... :(

and with this one : glibc-2.3.2-5.i686.rpm, 
glibc-common-2.3.2-5.i386.rpm glibc-devel-2.3.2-5.i386.rpm  
glibc-kernel-headers-2.3.2-5.i386.rpm , it's working fine .

the pb is that i can't upgrade or downgrade the version because deps ...

i try "rpm -u" but nothing works ....

if somebody have an idea for this ... tks for help
