hp1000 printer please help

Hello

would you please help me.
you told that you have a hp 1000 and work under fc1 .
did you add printer through cups or Gnome print
manager .
because through Gnome print manager i get tray empty
error and cups can not add any thing ..... when i want
to add printer it goes to the state which is not
finished .
in genome after that says that usb port is busy .i
deleted and added a printer again but it said that
port is busy . and how can i know which usb port my
printer connected ? /dev/usb/lp0 ?
I have checked every thing through linuxprinting.org
and i have all the drivers installed . but in gs -h i
can not see foo2zjs how ever i untared and did make
install that driver .
