Evolution Connector is GPL'ed!

I just went ahead and DL'ed connector. (via red-carpet).
but somehow, it just doesn't work.  I'm not sure if I've done things
correctly or what but on startup I get this message :

"This Copy of Ximian Connector is not activated"

Since the "official" launch is May 14, is that why it's not working???

Clues anyone?
