raid1 problems (asus p4p800)

Using the bootdisk.img mentioned in the bugzilla (121819) reading about p4p800 
I can setup the fedora core 2 software.

There' s only one problem, raid1 setup doesn't work. I got a cannot format md1 
message.
I can setup the system when I create normal filesystems but not raid1.

It doesn't matter if I use the two normal ide disks or the two sata disks.

Any idea??
