Raw devices problem

I managed to fix the problem with my RAW devices.

Recompile the kernel.  Go to Device Drivers, Character Drivers, right at
the bottom is:

/dev/raw/rawN support (Obsolete)

I turned that on, built in, and recompiled.  Works fine now.

For the firewire questions related to this question, in the config menu,
turn on IEEE support, and the SBP support just above it.
