But that is the beauty of Open Source.   We can push all our
technologies onto Windows machines and get interoperability
that way.   Make them interoperable with us!  Yes there will have
to be some conduits made from the Linux side too.   That's 
understood.   Samba is a good example of Open Source 
interoperability.   But even there we're still chasing a proprietary 
master.   Soon enough we'll have open source network 
filesystems available that are just as powerful, even more so.
And they'll work on MSwin too just long enough for everyone
to come on over and join us.
