I was having trouble with a dual boot problem in FC2 and someone on the
list said Fedora reported the geometry of the drive wrong to windows.  I
don't know if this bug was ever fixed.  This may be a place to look. 
And no, I'm not a programmer ether, those guys make it sound so simple.
