it was the nvidia drivers that caused boot problem, edited xorg.conf, changed nvidia to nv and then suddenly fc3 booted excerpt for one problem. eth0 won't start. eth0 starts on the rescue disk though. gets dhcp and works great! but not in fc3, it just says inactive... it is a cnet pci card, daviscom... so close.... kh
