Fresh RPMS have a apt-get app with repositories, you can download the
apt-get from there and then install synaptic if you want a easier way to
search for packages.
Or you can add their repository to your yum installation
http://ayo.freshrpms.net/
this will work for you if you only want to do apt-get install mplayer.
