You can get brainread BUT before you do, it might be worthwhile to
migrate to Firefox. I have more feeds, better organized in a folder on
the menubar and the contents are brought up in the browser anyway.

Just add the extension to right click to add a live feed and it forms a
better solution than Evolution.

Subscriptions are easier to manage. As you browse, FF shows available
feeds automatically. 

The ONLY negative is that you cannot set the refresh interval which is
hard coded at 35 minutes but you can manually refresh any feed.

There is also an excellent weather extension that can be displayed on
any bar you select with completely selectable details including forecast
data.
