I would really like to know how you did this. I have GF4 440MX and
installed the NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-6629-pkg1. Modified the
/etc/X11/xorg.conf. When I reboot, it gives a message about
reconfigure kernel and hangs.
Any help would be great, I have never had a problem with an nvidia
driver before. But then that was on a different Linux.
