Verifying CD's after burn

I encountered several probs with it. When I burn e.g.  the Fedora ISO
image, K3B is constantly telling me, that the burned DVD doesn't match
the MD5 sum, but Fedora's media check tells me it's ok. Strange - isn't
it?
