Can I extend /usr partition ??

I would suggest following path: as hda5 and hda6 are neighbour partition
boot your system without /usr (hda5) not being used. Maybe do so with a
special rescue CD or a live-CD Linux like knoppix. Then move the data
from hda5 to a safe place and then erase both partitions hda5 and hda6.
Then recreate a new partition which will be used by hda5 and for /usr
and the remaining rest for hda6. Create the filesystem on both new
partitions. Copy back the saved data to the new and bigger hda5. Boot as
before.
