I'm curious about this too -- the 802.11g cards all also support 802.11b
as far as I know. When people say that 802.11g cards are not widely
supported yet does that mean that you just can't get them to work using
802.11g under Linux (but that they may work using 802.11b), or that you
can't get them to work at all?

Also does anyone know whether the Netgear WG511 or WAG511 PC cards
(PCMCIA) work? -- There are still some outlets if the UK offering a free
one of those cards if you buy Netgear's DG834G combined WAP/ADSL router,
which I'm tempted to as my current router (D-Link) is beginning to show
its age.

Best, Darren
