FC3: KDE Fonts Out of Proportion

Jason,

For GNOME you can adjust the dpi setting using 'gnome-font-properties',
either from the console or from the menu under Preferences -> Font.

Once in the application, click on the "Details" button and on the next
dialog, you will see the Resolution setting at the top. You can adjust
the AA settings there as well.

If you want to review the display setting details, in a console, you can
use 'xdpyinfo'.
