Okay, I created /etc/udev/rules.d/10-local.rules file so it looks like:
# cat /etc/udev/rules.d/10-local.rules KERNEL="ttyUSB1",SYMLINK="pilot"
and also created /etc/udev/permissions.d/10-visor.permissions with the
following line, which will give the local user access to the device:
ttyUSB1:$local:uucp:0660
It worked ONCE, now nothing! Is anyone else actually managing to sync
a USB palm device with FC3? How? I'm seriously thinking about going
back to FC2 because it worked and I understood it - Please tell me I
don't have to!
Or maybe there's a clear explanation of udev somewhere?
Kpilot, btw, seems not to work at all....
Tim
