LCD screen resolution problem

We had the same problem here and the way we solved was by manually 
selecting the kind of monitor. In our case, it was a Dell something, 
where something is the maximum resolution. For some reason, Fedora just 
didn't recognize it but, if you "hold its hand and show the way" it has 
the drivers.
