New kernel will not finish booting...help me with this error message?

Interesting. But I'm not seeing much of a common
denominator in the reports. Mine is not looping
infinitely (at least I'm not seeing repeated error
messages; just one). And the hardware seems to vary a
lot.
Is atkbd.c a keyboard device handler? I'm going to
try a different keyboard and see what difference that
makes.
