The string is right but your test is wrong.
[ewilts at pe400 ~]$ man hosts.allow | grep BO
BOOBY TRAPS
[ewilts at pe400 ~]$ rpm -qf /etc/redhat-release
fedora-release-3-8

Don't spell the whole BOOBY word out - it's a funky man page display but 
you will see the string BOOBY TRAPS there exactly as the original poster 
documented.
