Can't get shockwave viewer to install in FC3

I've had three attempts to get flash to work with the default Mozilla Firefox 
without success :-(

I have tried everyones advice I also looked at 
http://www.fedoranews.org/contributors/stanton_finley/fc3_note/

I'm giving up I'll just do without along with the inability to run Bittorent 
GUI and gdesklets :-(
