Where are we going in the Fedora development?

Linux has a long way to go to make it to the mainstream desktop but it's
also come quit a long way over the years. Does anyone in their right
mind seriously use Motif (or even any of the NEXT knockoffs for that
matter). They really make Microsoft look good....

I was "away" from Linux for 3 years , came back and decided on Fedora
Core 3 because a) it had the latest and greatest versions of my fave
Desktops (KDE & Gnome) and no one else did and the large user base meant
I'd find more help from folks like yourself.

I've been overall very pleased with it. I tried SuSE 9.1 last month and
while it's more "polished" in appearance (their old GNOME 2.4 excluded)
it's far less stable than any of the FC3 Tests were.
