importing tracks from ipod into rhytmbox

I've recently saw somebody (Michael Peters) mentioning (fedora's ?) 
rhythmbox not being able to deal with AAC. Gotta try that in a sec...

...hmm i don't see no error message but i don't here no sound
either. He recommended gamp as GStreamer frontend, i presume he meant
gamp can do aac.
