Good + Free linux games

[TongKe Xue]

Hey,

  I'm looking for a good Linux game of the following flavor:

* multiplayer
* real time
* on a single machine

  (Yes, I know that there is happy penguin, but having trouble finding
the type of game I want.)

  The type of game is like:
  (on windows)
   Wacky Wheels
   Jazz Jackrabbit 2 <-- As close to this as possible
  (on Linux)
    xevil
    tkblast
    clanbomber

  Yeah -- something like side scrolling multiplayer action game ...
any suggestions?
