machine don't halt(continuing)!

Well,

I suppose that isn't a ACPI problem because I left the machine turned on
2 days, but without log in any user ... and it's halt.

When I log in the machine, left a lot of time on and try to halt I got a
kernel panic ... a lot of memory addresses rolls down in the screen.

I'm trying to turn off directly from gnome halt ... from the graphical
mode.

For that reasons, I suppose that there is a NFS problem, because without
logged in the machine turn off without problem.

I have tried: ACPI=off APM=on also, without success.

Actually the machine has ACPI=on and APM=off in the mode 5 startup.

Thanks again...

Erico.
