Thanks for an excellent and much appreciated instruction. I will print
a copy and
save it, and the comments by Alexander and Scot, for reference since it
ties the
basic processes together nicely for me.
I presently have two FC2 boxes tied together [via a Linksys switch] much
as you
describe and if we ever get a h.s. cable connection or DSL in this rural
area there
is a MAC and probably a Windows computer that will need to be included
in the
network.
SFTP enables me to transfer files at high speed and I was able to update
box2's
kernel using the rpm derived from yum on box1.
