I have configured my grub.conf.
it boot when I choose LINUX. but when I choose windows I get an error
message saying "unrecognided string ...." .

/boot/grub/grub.conf should have the following:
title Fedora Core (your version)
root (hd0, 1)
kernel /vmlinuz- <--- insert your kernel filename here. It's located in
/boot
initrd /initrd- <--- Same as above, except its the initrd
title Windows
rootnoverify (hd0, 0)
chainloader +1
I'm presuming that /dev/hda2 is your /boot partition.

what shoud I do to configure GRUB to boot with WINDOWS XP (HDA1) and LINUX.
