The menu editing feature in gnome has been bbroken for ages and I
don't think it's fixed yet. See
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=81215. The only
way to edit the menus that I know is what Alexander suggested, editing
the files in /usr/share/applications/.
