FC2 Anaconda install on Tecra M1

Hi,

I'm trying to install FC2 on a Tecra M1. All proceeds fine until 
Anaconda loads and the colors are wrong; it's hard to describe: they're 
not inverse but the palette is wrong, text is barely readable.

I can't find any reference to this problem, does anyone else have any 
experience with it?

Is this a driver problem (the Tecra has a Trident Cyber-XP4 according to 
Windows)?

If I install in text mode, I would presume X would suffer the same problem?
