Simple file sharing between FC2 and Mac OS X?

The easiest thing for you to do is open a Windows file share on the Mac
and mount the share from linux.

The other alternatives are to run either a samba share {Windows print/file
sharing} or a netatalk {Apple print/file sharing} share on the linux 
machine
and access it from the Mac. In order to get netatalk to work with OSX you
need to configure it to send a message when the user logs on.

We all the methods mentioned above, and they all work. I don't have time to
walk you through a tutorial, but if you install Webmin, and/or SWAT you can
configure Samba with the associated GUIs. There is also a NetAtalk 
module for
webmin, but if I remember correctly, NetAtalk still requires some manual
configuration to get it to work.

If you use KDE you can also make an icon for each network share on your 
desktop.
I don't remember how I set mine up, but it works well.
