That is what they want you to think. MYSQL is GPL, including the libraries.
Becuase of threats made by the company that holds the copyrights on MYSQL,
you hould be more worried about getting sued in borderline cases. It may
cost you some money to establish what your rights really are with regard
to using GPL libraries.
