portable mp3 player recommendation

I bought a Samsung YEPP which talks to my box via USB as a mass storage 
device. Basically the answer you're looking for is that you want any 
device which can be mounted as a filesystem.

Here's the entry in my fstab:

/dev/sdd3        /mnt/mp3         vfat    noatime,noauto,user    0 0

Just plug in, mount the directory and you can use cd, cp, rm to get 
whatever you want into it.
