FC2 freezes from time to time

Yes, that's right.  I upgraded from FC1.  Also, I use the ATI binary 
drivers, which build their own version of the X config script on 
installation (using that name).  Actually, I'm a little surprised that 
the FC2 upgrade scripts don't rename the X config file.  I never really 
thought about it before.
