Fedora Core 2 does ship dovecot and Cyrus-IMAPd, but not Courier-IMAPd.

The dependency of the RPM you tried can not be fulfilled because the RPM
is for Redhat 9 which had a different packaged krb5-libs RPM. The
/usr/kerberos/lib/libcom_err.so.3 is in none of the FC packages. So
either compile Courier your own, get an FC compatible Courier RPM or use
one of the 2 FC2 IMAP daemons.
