Beats me. Why do you think I'm always up to 5 am for a
week at a time on such problems? I would likely just
delete them, rpm -e, one at a time.

Now that I think of it: Once you have the kde-redhat
kde running, you could go into the kde menu, system
tools, kpackage. This will allow you to delete, I
think (it's been a while since I used it),
graphically, which should speed things up a whole lot.
