Samba - How to debug

I have done a few more edits and been able to get to the logon prompt (which I do not get on the other win client.  Yet my password does not work.  I have tried not only my own account, but root as well.  In addition, I have gone into win xp prof and changed pw to revers encryption, but am still unable to connect.

Any ideas?
